the brief
As Sports Supporter Wear has blossomed into a new subcategory of Streetwear, wearing your team’s colours is the ultimate way to show your allegiance. As I'm always looking for the next trends and ideas to intersect Band Merchandise with Streetwear and craft more fashionable outfits, I pitched this concept to our clients at 24Hundred - the Footy Supporters Pack.
A range of Sports Supporter style garments, with each order receiving a free 24Hundred footy of their choice.
The RANGE
Beginning to dip my toes into the world of sublimation design and understanding supporter wear better, I found that soccer kits were the best canvas for these designs. While they are the most fashionable at the moment, they are also the most open to design ideas and styles, meaning I had many opportunities to work with the sublimated pattern to bring the creative expression of each brand to life.
Secondly, with the scarves, I've always loved how they can be designed with reverse sides, so I made sure to also include the classic AFL - style scarf just for Ocean Grove fans, who I feel would be more receptive to that kind of design.
