Hey there, I'm Flynn.
And I love to create.
Ever since I was a kid drawing Star Wars characters duelling, I had an itch to scratch. Ideas started to pop into my head, and all I wanted to do was to bring them to life.
Once I figured out you could make money and build a career out of this, I was sucked into the world of creative.
When I saw that creative executions can have real world impact, it gave me a sense of purpose knowing that I'm able to use creative to make a positive difference in peoples lives - and that’s how I knew Art Direction would be the path for me. Coming from a background of Graphic Design, Video Editing & Producing alongside Content Creation, these different disciplines help to look at each new brief and conceptualize with the widest possible scope.
Recently having worked at Super Special Merchandise, my creative skills were given a great workout as I designed merchandise ranges & social media content for a broad variety of artists & brands. These included a great bunch of bands such as Sleep Token, The Amity Affliction, Ocean Alley, as well as several brands such as Gardening Australia, Triple J & Laneway Festival.
In 2022 I took part in AWARD School, where I was thrown in the deep end with a hugely rewarding experience. Facing the exciting challenge of 10 unique and stretching briefs, I was mentored by some of the best creative minds in the country, pushing my creative thinking and enriching my skillset to give me a new perspective of creative advertising.
While creating by day, by night I've been a performing musician for over 7 years, as well as running my own Streetwear brand called INCOHERENT THOUGHT. There's always interesting and abstract ideas running through my head, so exploring these extra outlets to craft with really helps to give me a more diverse creative output.
